Step 1: Cutting

The first step in getting started on my quilt is cutting all the fabric.  I don't have all of it just yet, but I did have 6 of them that I knew I wanted to incorporate so I spent parts of my day cutting them into 4.5" x 4.5" squares (so they'll be 4" squares once they're sewn.

I'm glad I started now and can go as I acquire the new fabrics.  The rotary cutter hurts my hand.  I love it anyway though because without it I would not have gotten this far today.  And my hand would still hurt.
