DH and I spent our day getting ready for Christmas. For the first time since we've lived together (this is the fourth Christmas) we decorated our house with Christmas lights. We've never lived in a place where it would actually work and/or we weren't afraid they would be stolen. We put up a ton of lights and our house looks awesome. Even our neighbor mentioned how much he liked it. Unfortunately, I still don't have a way to get photos to my computer, so I'm unable to share the awesomeness.
After we finished that we decided to go get our Christmas tree. I have to say that my house smells amazing. I love the smell of a Christmas tree. We haven't decorated yet, but we plan to tomorrow and after that I can put all of the Christmas presents under it. I haven't finished yet, but my craft room is full of wrapped presents just waiting to hide under the tree until Christmas. I thought I was done, but I thought of another gift that I'd like to get for DH so I think I might head out tomorrow and pick it up at the store. He has more than enough this year, but I know it's something he would love and it's small enough for me to count it as a stocking stuffer.
